So I started editing my digipak today and narrowed it down to a couple of images.
I finally chose this image as the front cover but i wanted to use a different image for the back, however it didn't look very good and there wasn't a flow from the front to the back.
I flipped the image around horizontally and then zoomed it in.
I edited the colour for the outside and the inside in the same way going to adjustments and then photo filter. I came across this way of editing the colour when i was in photography and i realised i could mix to colours together, which is what i did. I mixed orange with purply pink to create the final colour.
once i had finished editing the colour i thought i would try out airbrushing her face a little and i was introduced to the CLONE STAMP TOOL. what it does is you have to select a dot of skin where the target will get its stamp from. then you simply cover the spot or section of skin u want to cover, using the stamp of clear skin you selected with the target.
with this image i wanted to create a sort of silhouette and i dis this by playing around with the shadows and highlights and then gave it a warm, sunset effect by adding an orange colour filter.
After finishing the colour i reviewed the fonts that i shortlisted, and there was as clear winner. ARSENALE WHITE. Because the font i chose was not already on photoshop i had to activate it though FONTCASE.
