I found Emeli Sande's album, an artist that is very recent and more importantly has a side profile for her debut single and turns her back to the audience on her debut album. The reason why i like the side profile shot is because i like the silhouette look and how the features on the face looks more defined .

There is a clear link between the single and the album and i think its curious how she isn't even facing the audience in her album and it is like she has turned further from her single. I think this works for her because her hair is such a signature look that she is recognisable. with my artist i will use something to identify her and make her stand out on the album.
