RESEARCH: Ancillary Products DO'S ad DON'TS

Do's
-Font must be clear
-The size of the image and the text must be appropriate.
-Images must be in focus
-Appropriate image shape for the product
-Follow the rule of thirds
-Type face that is appropriate for the genre conventions and the house style
-Placement of the font must follow genre conventions and be clear from a distance
-Follow the 3 colour rule
-Use colours appropriate for the images, font and background
-Position industry logos and conventions correctly.

Dont's
-Stretch image
-Layer styles
-If effects are used they must suit the genre and not unnecessary
-Place text across artist's face
-Use inappropriate font which doesn't suit the genre just because you like it.
-Necessarily use a seperate image for every panel.
